How Much Does Eyelid Surgery Cost?

At Absolute Cosmetic, we provide clear, personalised quotes following your consultation, ensuring there are no unexpected costs.

Skin Only

A skin-only blepharoplasty involves removing excess skin from the upper eyelid without adjusting underlying fat or muscle. It is typically performed for patients with mild to moderate eyelid skin laxity and no significant puffiness or muscle involvement.

Skin-only upper blepharoplasty starts from $2,200 (excluding theatre and post-operative fees).

Full Blepharoplasty

A full blepharoplasty involves the removal of excess skin as well as the adjustment or removal of underlying fat and, in some cases, muscle. This approach is typically recommended for patients with more pronounced eyelid. A full procedure can be performed on the upper eyelids, lower eyelids, or both.

A full blepharoplasty procedure ranges between $4,400 and $6,600 depending on your individual plan and whether you are having both upper and lower eyelids treated.

Additional Fees
The following items are not included in the base surgical fee but will be itemised in your personalised quote and discussed at consultation:
Theatre Fee
Covers the cost of our fully accredited surgical facility in Nedlands, sedation and surgical team.
Post-Surgical Garments & Creams
Any required compression or protective garments, as well as topical creams to aid healing and scar management.
Post-Operative Medications
Prescribed medications such as antibiotics, anti-inflammatories, or pain relief to support your recovery. This will be discussed with you during a consultation.

Consultation Fees

A consultation is required to confirm your suitability for eyelid surgery and to provide a personalised treatment plan and detailed quote.

Complimentary Nurse Consultation (Phone): A free initial discussion with a registered nurse to answer general questions and provide preliminary information.
Nurse Consultation (In-Clinic): $50 for an in-person consultation with a nurse.
Consultation with Dr Murray: From $100 for a detailed assessment and surgical planning.

Important: An in-person consultation is mandatory before surgery to ensure suitability for the procedure.

Eyelid Surgery Payment Options

We understand that surgery is a significant decision, and planning ahead can make the process more manageable. At Absolute Cosmetic, we are happy to discuss available payment methods and how costs may be staged over time.

Payment Methods

Accepted payment options can be explained during your nurse consultation or doctor consult. As a general guide, we accept bank transfers and major credit card payments, including AMEX.

Staged Payments

Patients are welcome to speak with our team about the timing of payments for surgery. A deposit of $2,200 per theatre date is required to secure your booking. The full balance is generally due 14 days prior to your procedure. If you have any questions about payment methods or scheduling, our team will provide detailed information during your consultation and confirm all requirements in writing before your surgery.
