Relief for Redness and Sensitive Skin

Living with rosacea can be challenging, with persistent redness, flushing and skin sensitivity. Kleresca® Rosacea Treatment is a non-invasive option designed to calm the skin. It combines a photoconverter gel with LED light to produce fluorescent light energy, which may help to reduce inflammation and support the skin’s natural repair processes.

Results vary between patients, and Kleresca may be used on its own or alongside other treatments your doctor recommends. A consultation with our clinical team is required to assess whether this treatment is suitable for you.

How does Kleresca Rosacea Treatment work?

Kleresca Rosacea Treatment is based on photobiomodulation (PBM), a non-invasive biophotonic technology that uses fluorescent light energy. The light reaches the skin at different wavelengths and is thought to support the skin’s own repair processes at a cellular level.

Kleresca may help to ease rosacea symptoms by:

  • Reducing inflammation and the number of papules and pustules
  • Reducing redness and flushing
  • Calming the skin, which may ease burning and stinging
  • Supporting a healing response and overall skin quality

What types of Rosacea can be treated?

Kleresca Rosacea Treatment may be suitable for:

  • Erythematotelangiectatic Rosacea
  • Papulopustular Rosacea

Your practitioner will assess your skin at consultation to confirm whether the treatment is right for you.

What happens during your Perth Kleresca Rosacea treatment?

After an initial cleanse of the skin, the photoconverter gel is applied. The gel is then illuminated with a multi-wavelength LED light, and the gel converts the blue light from the lamp into fluorescent light energy. You may feel a warm, tingling sensation during this time.

The Rosacea Treatment includes an initial course of 4 to 6 sessions, depending on the severity of the condition. The number of treatments varies from patient to patient and is decided by your treating dermal therapist or nurse.

What happens after the Kleresca Rosacea treatment?

The gel is removed, and the skin may appear slightly flushed. Make-up can be applied straight after the treatment to cover this. Other potential side effects include temporary sensitivity, hyperpigmentation (bronzing of an area of the skin) and hair bleaching. Hyperpigmentation usually fades over time. Your practitioner will explain the risks and possible side effects before your treatment.
