What are Polynucleotides?

Rejuran® polynucleotides (PN) are DNA fragments that degrade slowly and are derived from wild salmon. Rejuran® PN is a more concentrated form of PDRN (Polydeoxyribonucleotide), which comes from salmon sperm DNA.

Rejuran® is a colourless, transparent gel with a specific viscosity that acts as a scaffold. This particular viscosity helps to naturally reduce wrinkles, fine lines, and scars.

DOT™ PN is composed of highly biocompatible DNA fragments that are purified and extracted from Korean Chum Salmon (O. keta), which has a DNA base composition very similar to that of humans.

Types of Rejuran® Treatments

At Absolute Cosmetic Perth, we offer three formulations of Rejuran®, each designed for specific skin needs. All variations use polynucleotide (PN) technology to support collagen production and skin regeneration.

  • Rejuran® Eyes (Rejuran i)

    Rejuran Eyes is designed to support the delicate under-eye area by targeting fine lines and skin laxity. This formulation may help improve skin elasticity, hydration, and texture under the eyes.
    A typical treatment course includes 3 sessions, using 1ml per session, spaced 2 to 3 weeks apart.

  • Rejuran® Scars

    This formulation is developed to assist with the appearance of various types of scarring, including acne scars, boxcar scars, sunken areas, and general skin irregularities. Rejuran Scars may help promote skin repair and improve surface texture.
    Recommended treatment typically includes 3 sessions, using 1ml per session, spaced 2 to 3 weeks apart.

  • Rejuran® Classic

    Rejuran Classic is suitable for full-face treatment and can also be used on the neck, décolletage, and hands. It is designed to assist with skin texture, fine lines, and early signs of ageing, while supporting collagen production and skin regeneration.
    The recommended protocol is typically 3 treatments, using 2ml per session, spaced 2 to 4 weeks apart.

  • Rejuran® Lips

    Rejuran® Lips is a targeted treatment using a softer, lip-specific formulation designed to improve lip texture, hydration and tone through subtle regenerative effects. It is not designed to add volume, but instead, it works by stimulating the lip tissue’s own repair processes to support softness and skin health from within.

    The recommended protocol is typically 2-3 treatments spaced 3 to 4 weeks apart.

How many Rejuran® treatments are needed?

A typical treatment plan includes three sessions, spaced 2 to 3 weeks apart. Depending on individual skin needs, maintenance treatments may be considered every 6 to 12 months.

Will I get small bumps after Rejuran®?

It can be common to notice small bumps in the areas immediately after treatment. These are typically mild and subside within 24 hours as the treatment is absorbed. Bruising may also occur, depending on the treatment area and individual response.

Is there downtime after Rejuran® treatment?

Most patients experience minimal downtime. Mild redness, swelling, or small bumps may appear in the areas but usually subside within 24 to 48 hours. Minor bruising can occur and may take up to a week to resolve.
